Almost anyone other John L and BB could do better the last few years, just doesn't look like the Hogs out there. Arkansas is not a wasteland, program wise. Norvell would probably be an improvment.

I think Norvell might be the right guy for Arky. Shouldn't cost all that much for a 4-year contract to give him shot. Campbell is another guy Arky should be talking to.

But they do have the heaviest shackles of any SEC program outside of Missouri, UK, and Vanderbilt. Not a lot of homegrown talent, and significant difficulty wresting top talent away from neighboring states like Texas and Louisiana because other, more prominent programs generally pillage them.

Arkansas has a pretty rich tradition (course you gotta go back more than three decades now) thanks to their ability to recruit the DFW area. Of course we don't recruit there anymore because our dumb shite coach when down there and overtly insulted the entirety of Texas High School Football.
That would be my only hangup on throwing the bank at Matt Campbell. Mike Norvell? I know he's a hot name and all, but he would be like five or six spots down my list of calls as AD.
