If they had any balls at all they would just go protest at the LSU Ark game much more effective place to get their message out. That way they can really reach the nation.

They are scum of the highest order but they are protected under the 1st amendment.
It's best to ignore them or they will sue the frick out of you.
I think there are 12 kids and about 8 are lawyers. They want you to get mad so they can get money off of you when you try to do something to them.
Just try your best to ignore them.

Every time there is a notable death in the paper they claim they are going to show up and protest. But they usually never show.
Their whole schtick is drawing attention to themselves and their "everybody but us is going to hell" message.
They've figured out that they can accomplish that better simply by threatening to protest rather than actually doing it.

I really hope one day that they protest a funeral where someone like Joe Pesci is an uncle or friend of the deceased, or something like that. Doubt they would even make it out of Kansas.

I live in Topeka, which is bad enough without the association with Westboro. They used to picket major intersections all the time until they quit getting a reaction from passing drivers. It's a big reason why they went national. They thrive on attention and do whatever it takes to receive it.

When they tried to protest a funeral in the Jackson area some months ago, some unknown local folks apparently found the hotel where the protesters were staying. Mysteriously a number of cars were parked during the night behind the cars from Kansas at the hotel and the owners of the those cars couldn't located be located until after the funeral. Oddly, no protesters showed up at the funeral. No violence was involved, no confrontation.
