This isn't even true. It's a 7'0" 5-star #7 overall recruit that went to Oregon and Indiana, and we literally just made a Elite Eight run with a player no taller than 6'8" so your point is moot regardless.

Had to go back and look up that team’s E8 run. Our coach at the time failed to get us in the tournament and I kind of lost interest that year.

But you guys used 3 players 6’ 9” and taller that combined for 14 points and 11 rebound/game. Last I checked 6' 9", 6' 10" and 7' are all taller than 6' 8".

Interestingly, that team’s #2, #3, and #4 leading scorers were all from out of state even though there were Arkansas kids on the roster at the same position. Apparently, Muss didn’t think you’d be very competitive playing just home-grown talent. Which, as a reminder, was your original point.
