I honestly did not know Tennessee was #7 lol. But I have been busy lately and have not seen much cbb.

I mean, at the time, I would have taken Shaka over Barnes.
Shaka got content. Barnes got fired up. Vols ended up with the better end of the deal. Not sure I would have said that four, five years ago.
His first win over a #1. Hot damn. I never thought I would love a team more than the Bradshaw, Loftin, Watson bunch that Pearl had, but this team is something else. Enjoying it while I can.

There was plenty of laughter. Barnes was a 50/50 proposition.
It does seem apparent that the apparatus of the Texas athletic department is more of a barrier to onfield and on-court success than it is a help.
Barnes has done a great job at Tennessee.
