Georgia will lose but it won't be an embarrassment. We're losers but were not getting blown out...even hung with Indiana for the whole game.

You cant have too high of expectations for a 2-4 UGA team that lost at home to Youngstown State and So Miss.

Maybe, but losing at home to a a 1-6 Rhode Island team does not bode well.

Never count on SC to do anything but embarrass the conference in basketball.

PS: You spelled embarrassed wrong.

shite happens in basketball. So many games and UK playing a bunch of Freshmen as usual, games can be unpredictable against another good team. Little doubt with so much talent they will recover from the loss.

At least right away.

SC was 10-21 last season and have a new coach, it'll take some time before we're respectable again.

Last night was the 1st recognizable name we've played and it was the 1st true road game. (we played a couple in Mexico before). So I'm not sure what people expected.

I think most of us do but it'll be a long year. If we can sneak into the NIT I'll be happy.

Yea, I agree, but it's going to take a long time. I see us being a tourney-caliber team in 3-4 years, maybe longer.

It's hard to sustain anything basketball in the state of SC...

Yeah it took Purnell a while but once he got going at Clemson they were solid every year (though they couldn't get an NCAA tourny win to save their lives) If Purnell can do that at Clemson than there is no reason Martin can't do the same here.
