Being undefeated didn't matter when FSU got in over West Virginia years ago so it shouldn't matter now.

Did you make this up?

11-0 Nebraska Big 8 champ
11-0 West Virginia Big East champ
10-1 Notre Dame beat FSU
10-1 FSU

FSU got to play Nebraska.
Auburn was also 11-0 but they couldn't play in a bowl.

That’s a good point, I would put Liberty in over Bama.

Of course you would, but you're a moron.

Then why not drop Washington and keep Georgia in? Georgia's obviously better than Texas, Michigan, and Washington. That's the part that yall seem to ignore. If the logic is best 4 teams. Then keep Georgia in.

That’s not a bad idea. If they were kept in, it would come down to another rematch with Georgia since nobody can hang with the SEC except the SEC. If FSU wants to shut up all the Naysayers and vindicate all you newly created Seminole semen swallowers, they can show up in Miami and beat the brakes off of Georgia. But deep in your hating little hearts you know the opposite will occur. UGA is going to spank that arse.
I have maintained from the UNA game that if Jordan Travis had not gotten hurt, they damn sure deserved to go to the playoffs. But that offense imploded when Travis left the field. They are half a team now. They would not get past the first playoff game and you all know it. So instead of sending another sacrificial lamb out there like TCU was last year, they did the wiser thing and sent an actual competitor to the playoffs.

If everyone had cooperated so that the 12 team playoff could have started this year, this discussion would be unnecessary but the ACC was a key participant in The Alliance that delayed the playoff expansion. How’d that work out for you, ACC?

Liberty would beat FSU imho.
Nah. Their defense would take care of business. And unfortunately our defense is adequate for CUSA play.

well since you put it that way, Bama needed a last minute miracle pass to beat an unranked Auburn team. they beat unranked Arkansas by 3 points and unranked A&M by 6 points. that's nothing to brag about.

Why bring uga into this??

But if it's about who this "committee" thinks are the best 4.... then they think Mich, Wash, and Tx are better than uga.

The SEC was not strong this year. What was the SEC’s best out of conference win? For Bama probable South Florida? Ole Miss beating Tulane? Mizzou beating Kansas?

As an undefeated power 5, FSU should have been in.

putting in two one loss teams over an undefeated P5 conference champion is indefensible.

Who said the ACC is a P5 conference besides lil' Jimmy Phillips? This is football we talkin' not girls lacrosse.
