I love how they shite on us for hyping up Fournette then he rushes for 30 something yards vs them but then Harris does the same and it’s cool
No Bama fans didn’t hype up Harris to be the next Hershel Walker.
In both LF’s and Harris’s cases, the OLs were far more to blame. In both cases, the RBs had little to no room to run. They usually had to break 2 tackles and drag another defender just to pick up 3 yards.

There’s threads on here by Bama fans claiming he’s the best RB in the SEC and is headed to New York. Is that not hype?

honest question. When you decided it was a good idea to start this thread, can you explain what led to that decision. TIA

There's a valid argument he is

Okay, so what’s the difference here? It was okay to shite on Fournette for his performance against Bama but not cool to do the same about Harris?

So you’re lucky that your players underperform in college?
Here I thought the reason for watching college football was for my college team to win.

I think it's stupid to shite on either for their performance in a single game. Fair enough?

MSB if you want to talk NFL. But since you brought it up, Alabama has three backs with 100 yard games this season. Fournette needs to worry about following rules and staying on the field.
Trent played with the Browns, Colts and Raiders before Carr. By all means he’s a bust but those are three teams who I wouldn’t exactly call ideal spots for any RB.

Played a legit D and had 9 carries for 33 yds. Where is the d-bag that said he belonged in the convo with Fournette and Chubb?
33 yards on 9 carries? No way that belongs in the same convo with Fournette, that's for sure...

I wish LSU’s D was comparable to what Fournette faced against Bama. They’re not lol

Well, Fournette had 35 yards last year against Bama, so maybe there's something to that.

That's kinda what I'm thinking.

Have I missed the mass "D-Harris best RB in the SEC" postings? Maybe I have.
Most just toss his numbers into the Guice/Chubb debates to show how ridiculous his YPC numbers were.

Saw this one though.
You do realize he was saying that Harris was not overrated and that the LSU fan was making this thread because he was trying to make Guice look better, right?

This is the same reasoning Alabama fans and others used to say that Fournette was overrated, FWIW.
LSU's front 7 played to stop the run, and outplayed Alabama's offensive line by a pretty solid margin.
There wasn't much for any of the Alabama running backs to do on Saturday. They got beat up front.

He's not bad, but both he and Bo are not what our RB's have been the past decade
Coffee, Ingram, Richardson, Lacey, Yeldon, Henry
all very elite college RB's
Bo and Harris are solid, but they don't quite have the it factor those others guys did.

Harris is better than Coffee and Yeldon were in college IMO. I actually like Harris a lot as a RB.

Yeah, we've been propping up Damien Harris for the Heisman. Sucks he probably won't win it.
This is how low 7SU has sunk. Last year you were pissed about losing by 10. Now you're ecstatic about losing by 14 with the mercy knee at the 5.

why is the "mercy knee on the 5" continuing to be brought up as if it means something? LSU went for it on 4th down on the 10 Are you saying Alabama should have scored or something?
