Honestly all trolling and bs aside as soon as this online betting went national for the most part games have been more and more fricked up and officiated poorly. Yes I can complain about the reffing in the LSU game but honestly I watch pro games and college games and it's everywhere really everyone could complain about the reffing. This betting bullshite changed outcomes across the board in every sport it seems like. Deny all you want it's the root cause

And it's not just final outcomes, you got betting on people getting yards spreads through quarters, touchdown scorers etc etc etc. You don't think a ref has some kind of bet somewhere I'm sure they have people betting for them it's really the only explanation for the horrible reffing and it's not going to change unless they hold them accountable for their shitty calls

I understand all that, but it's more widespread now before you had people rigging calls etc refs getting paid I know blah blah blah it's just more widespread now way too easy to access

Gambling sure does severely weaken the integrity of the game, regardless of what all may go on behind closed doors.
Just recall the scene in Pulp Fiction where Marcellus is instructing Butch to go down in the 5th round.
"In the 5th, your arse goes down. Say it!"
