More lucky to not have Texas in the conference anymore.

Having Texas and OU leave is probably the best thing for the B12

I guess you kind of have to put them there since they are undefeated and beat USC on the road yesterday.
Even if Ohio State & Georgia are better, and probably LSU & Bama.

Miami at 6 is ridiculous.

It’s just a popularity contest. Polls don’t remotely make any sense

Army and Navy are in the Top 25 rankings together for the first time since 1960.

We're still ranked too high.

Ole Miss loses in OT on the road and drops 10 spots. Bama is a 21 pt favorite to Vandy and loses via the mercy knee. They only fall 6 spots. Then the following week at home Bama is -22 against South Carolina and squeak out a 2 pt win because USC qb handed them the game. Bama stays at 7. Make it make it make sense.

Looks very fake to me. No way does Bama deserve to be #7 and no way does OM deserve to drop 10 positions.

2nd loss for Ole Miss, they are the highest ranked 2 loss team.

Not sure why you think point spread means something. It was Alabama's first loss.

Again, point spread doesn't mean anything. Alabama is still a 1 loss team with a win over a top 5 team.

Happy to help.

For making money, no

For having a chance to win in football, yes

I’m guessing that they still have Bama up there is because we beat UGA. PSU struggled against unranked USC but they moved up. I would have swapped Oregon and OSU and kept PSU where they were. The voters know that the AP poll doesn’t matter which is why they don’t take it seriously.

Both teams play ND. I am good with both teams are still undefeated at the end of the season.

Why is that? I don’t recall either Texas or Oklahoma doing much winning in the big 12

A bit of a crazy season already. 5-25 could be pretty interchangeable.

Vandy should absolutely be ranked. But they aren’t a “name” and there are too many SEC teams at this time. Welcome to CFB politics

Fools gold that plays really sound football but doesn't have a ton of athletes. Fundamentals will get you a long way in this sport but when they run into a highly talented team full of Elite Talent they are going to fold.
Of course now that I say that they'll probably beat us in the playoffs.

OU and Texas have 17 of the 28 Big 12 football titles. Now it’s easier for ISU or anyone else in the Big 12 to finally win the conference.

The only thing I can think of is our win over UGA is holding us up a little higher. No way Tennessee should be 4 spots behind us. We’ve basically played the same game the past two weekends.

It’ll pan out, but we’re not worthy of #7 right now.

Why is LSU only favored by 1 over unranked Arkansas?
