Really couldn't agree with you more - it's all about what you're used to seeing IMO. Although, I think it's a lot easier when you're in a new time zone since you can just set your watch and not have to worry about it all. Only gets weird when things are printed/written down for a particular zone. Well, in my experience anyway.

I work at a multinational corporation and have to translate times for meetings. I may have to invite people from Brazil, the UK, Germany, India, etc. all to the same meeting and coordinating that can get tricky, especially during daylight savings time and the fact that Brits have no concept of British Summer Time even though they live on it half of the year.

Adding an hour here and there is pretty easy.

Whenever I've gone out west, I loved Noon ET games. Bars were open at like 830AM. Good times

You really do have an anger issue. Lighten up a little.

This^

You know, they woke me up at 5:45 this morning wanting me to push them on the swings outside. (2 year old twins)

I love them but some days I just want to walk away. The wife is sick as a dog so she's not helping any right now.

During the summer, the abbreviation is EDT for Eastern Daylight Time. At least, I think that's his point.
