So you maxed out at 5 words? I’m proud of you for getting that far.
Certainly a shame you didn’t decide to enlighten us all with your immense wisdom that you obviously possess.

This seems a fair and well thought out assessment.
Who are you, and why are you on the Rant?
Also, anything containing more words than a Dick and Jane primer will overtax most Rantards, and thus remain unread.

Thanks - just a fan that enjoys SEC football.

Is it really running up the score when the vast majority of your points come in the first half?

Depends on how those points were scored. If you’re up 35-3 and taking deep shots (hypothetical example), that’s unnecessary lol.

Yeah, aside from ole Miss and Tennessee, that doesn’t happen in this league

Tennessee’s OS kick was pure shite.

What kind of narcissistic person writes a book on a message board? Honestly did not read a word but just wonder who has time for that and why do you think so highly of yourself to think your opinions matter enough to read that?

It was midway through the 2nd quarter. When else are you going to get a chance to practice these things in game situations?

Why not try at the opening kickoff? I’m sure the Vols kicked off in the first in at least one of their three cupcake games.

You are saying that Kentucky, Mississippi State and Vanderbilt will finish with better records than South Carolina and Georgia.

I didn’t watch this game, but Tennessee did what you should do to a directional school. I would have preferred you allowed less than 10 points, but let’s not split hairs here when you throw down 72.
UT had a bad snap on their own 22 yard line, and the ball rolled back to the 5. So, ETSU's first TD was on a 5-yard drive. Their other TD came in the 4th quarter against UT's 2nd and 3rd stringers when UT was up 65-10.
ETSU's starting QB is a 5th year Senior that had played at Michigan and Iowa. He was Michigan's starter in 2021 throwing for 2,600 yards and 15 TDs. Last season he started at Iowa and led them to an 8-4 regular season record (he sat out the bowl game).
ETSU's backup QB is a 5th year Senior that played at UNC and Arkansas. Last season at UNC, he threw for 2,500 yards and 15 TDs. He was 13-17 for over 200 yards in a win over FSU (35-11). He threw 3TDs and just under 300 yards in a close loss to NC State last year.
Their top RB is a Junior that has played at USF and Ole Miss. They have a receiver that played for 3 years at Clemson. Yes...they are an FCS school, but they are not a horrible FCS school. The Spread was 40.5 points and UT won by 55.

8:00 minutes left in the first half is fine...If you are paying a school $600,000 to play, you should be able to do situational plays with special teams against them. I guess, they could have just started taking knees every play and punting every series...

What was the score at that point?

It was the SECOND quarter. You need to be practicing in situations where you can use it later. This isn't intramural flag football...

Thank you!
You list both Vanderbilt and Mississippi State as playoff contenders. You also say that at the end of the year South Carolina and Georgia will both be among the worst three or four teams in the SEC.
