Don't forget SC played a shortened game against a fbs opponent. They were a cupcake no doubt but we weren't playing a fcs cupcake like many.

This is stupid. So if your team dominates and has 47 minutes of TOP you are penalized for this?
Aggies had the other team have 3 first downs (not penalty assisted). They scored 50 points so divide that by 45 and their last?

Well you couldn’t run the ball vs Texas State, and you let them gain 350 yds and get 18 first downs

YUP, what you said. If you study on this really really hard, you'll realize this is a measure of a teams explosive scoring dynamic. and big play potential, but you knew this.

Once we look at defensive stats we’ll feel great.
If Marcel had connected with Bussey on that long pass it looks totally different.
Was wide open but communication was slightly off on the angle of his break to the corner.

I liked our offensive play but it was concerning seeing the defense gassed and handled on those two first half TDs by FAU. I know they run that super fast paced offense but the defense has to tighten up.
