I think Pete said it best in his tweet.
Now watch us lose all 6 games today.

Think we go 4-2 today and finish 13-3.
Do not have a lot of confidence in Alabama going to a riled up Dean Dome during this short transition period without Wrightsell and before Youngblood returns.

Yeah we play UNC in Charlotte in a couple of weeks and I don’t like them losing all these games. They were supposed to be the jewel of our non conference schedule.
That said, Roll Tide!

Never thought I'd see the day where the rant was melting over a UK loss more than the rafters.

There was melting, but not like non-UK fans in this forum.

Imagine if we go 15-1 (14-2/13-3) and how much weight that moves to SEC when its end of year seeding or bubble teams. These wins add to each other and give SEC so much more weight over ACC.
And as tough as SEC is looking means the conf play will be a bloodbath and finishing at 500 will be a great year. But that conf beating each other up will push some teams close to bubble most likely. And this head to head beat down of ACC could be a factor when choosing last 4 in and first 4 out.

It'll be the same kind of shite show that the CFP has become ... and the SEC will be screwed again.

Fortunately the college basketball committee doesn't have much issue handing out tons of bids to conferences with great metrics. And the SEC this year might have the best top to bottom metrics in the history of the sport when it's all said and done.
It's going to look a lot like it usually does in baseball and softball come tournament time where teams with 18-14 (7-11) records that wouldn't even be considered from other leagues or in most years will get serious consideration because of their metrics and NET ranking.

the 64 team tourney has always been this kind of shitshow. You can't get to that many teams without having a lot of teams with warts.

State falling out of the Top 25 after losing to a 7-1 Butler that couldnt miss a 3 is a travesty. They'll be back in after they beat Pitt tonight.

I hope you're right.

Ironic that UK, our sole conference blue blood in Basketball, is the only one that lost
