When are all the State fans gonna give up on baseball and claim it's just bad effort and unwatchable and shite?

Is that what is happening with basketball I assume? I was pretty shocked at the arena being basically 50% full last night.

I never said anything about LSU. I'm just stating my opinion on using "standings" at this point in the season. Where else can I argue about this if not here? You guys are the ones getting rustled about it.
But why are you arguing? It doesn't hurt you. It clearly states in the title that there will be some standings.

Bama down 2-3 B4.
Bama will win by 5. Stats don't lie.

Shocked why? Once they moved the students from center court down low the games excitement left. They sold out the program by giving those seats to people paying more. I live about 4500 miles away now, but even when I was two hours away it wasn't worth traveling to anymore. If I wanted to just sit down and watch a game I would just assume do it from the comforts of my own house. Sure when you play a quality team like Kentucky or Auburn the stands fill up, but you can't expect that for the majority of the SEC teams.

Oh yeah it was basically a neutral site game. It's pathetic.
None of our fans are willing to support this men's basketball team at all and bitch even when we win.
Vanderbilt has a better men's basketball fanbase than we do

Unless you're speaking of the Auburn or Kentucky fans that come, we don't fill it up. And it doesn't even really fill up then.

I mean I knew from watching some the last few years that State fans hadn't totally bought back in, but I figured in a big game for a bubble team against Alabama that the stands would at least be 3/4 full.

Can't tell you the exact year, but I believe it was early 2000's when they moved the students from down low on the court. Might have even been late 90's. It completely ruined the experience there.
It would be an interesting case study for a grad student to look at student seating for programs that are consistently competitive. I would expect most all of the programs have their students down low around the court and not tucked away in a corner.

It's definitely a disadvantage. Ours are in the corner (always have been) and will be moved down whenever we do the Arena renovation. Luckily it hasn't had too big an effect on things overall, but I think a lot of that is because we never had them anywhere else to begin with.
I know LSU has a similar issue.

I'll need someone to fill in for me while I'm watching the Georgia basketball game.
All you have to do is report the scores every 3 hours and make sarcastic comments.

Maybe LSU can get 3 or 4 hits tonight if they're lucky and scratch out a run on a wild pitch.

Does Tech have a lefty that tops out at 86 on the mound tonight? Could be in perfect game watch for this one. How exciting.

Alabama has now scored 5 or more runs in all 9 of their games so far
