I was told earlier that the USA Today coaches poll won't be updated for a while, so I'm using D1Baseball until it comes out.

Member when A&M started out 24-0 and didn’t make the CWS? That was a fun 50 win disappointment.

It's not like I'll still use them once conference play starts.. Those are the official standings on SEC.com and that's all we have for now.

Every mechanism to rank teams is useless at this point in the season. But this method is particularly meaningless. Teams are never ranked by their overall record.

They are when there’s a tie in conference games.
Since everyone is tied at 0-0, the tiebreaker is overall games. It’s not that hard to understand.
