Maroon and white is just bad arse. Especially with a little gray added.

Lipscomb (Auburn) is now up to 100 pitches. I wonder if he comes out for the 8th. He's got 5Ks, 3 walks, and only 1 ER.

9th inning grand-slams are cheating. Yes, cheating. I'm going on record here.

What about in the 8th? I'm pretty sure we have one vs Rice last year in the regional. Scored something like 7 runs in the last few innings to win it in the 10th. Then that night we took care of business vs tu. One of the most fun days of baseball in my life.

8th inning ones are violating the spirit of the law, but I'm willing to let it slide when committed against a college that named itself after a grain that's little more than a disappointing alternative to grits.

Can't remember ever a team having 2 pitchers each over 100 pitchers in the same game at any level.

Seriously? Huh. I'm not watching because the wife insisted we're sticking with movie night ("Interstellar" was up first, followed by "March of the Penguins". No, that's not a joke.) I'm only commenting because it's paused while she makes popcorn and I pretend to be looking up some stuff on IMdB. I should probably go ahead and do that so I can tell her exactly why Morgan Freeman refuses to admit that the penguins died rather than just disappeared.

Newman was so money out of the pen.
