Again, this team is not above losing. It's young and been unfocused all season. This has been a team just dying to make mistakes. We should definitely be favored like we are, just to be clear, because we are the better football team. However, this game is not a gimme. I just can't see it that way after watching bama struggle all season. If we play upfront the way we did against UGA we will smoke them, but I want to see it first. We need to put together another good game going into what is likely to be a rematch with UGA for the championship.

It’s fair to want to see it first. Please understand I am not saying we will show up unprepared and win. I am saying we will shoe up on a mission and beat the shite out of then. Cincy is on the same level as TAMU this year so if we lay an egg they could beat us but a Saban team has never showed up unprepared for a playoff game. We’ve been out schemed vs teams with tons of NFL talent but we are always prepared.

I gotcha. I hope you're 100% correct. I hope we come in well prepared, focused, and with our hair on fire.

You’re just the entitled fan Saban was talking about.

LSU has first round talent all over their defense.

99% of that talent had quit by the Bama game man. I would go with the fact that Saban will get bama up to play in the playoffs like he did yesterday over trying to pump up LSU’s defense.

No I am not. Check my posts. I said we would struggle against Auburn and LSU was scary. It’s all about matchups. We matchup very well with Cincy. It’s going to be over by halftime.

Pretty much known this all season. Been pretty evident 1A/1B w/ Bama/UGA...thought OSU may have made it interesting...Michigan would shock me if they made it interesting.

I thought BAMA would score 40 vs UGA. Check my post history.
I thought UGA would score 14.

A lot of our fans are going to look at this game as a bye and I fully understand that, is what it is. Not going to try to change anyone’s mind. And while I don’t bet, if I were forced to bet I would take Tide and the points without question.

I’ll simply say two things and move on. The Tide that showed up yesterday needs to show up in Dallas, not the one who showed up in Barnville. And someone spoke about the Tide being on a mission. I’m sure they are. Winning the big trophy never gets routine. But to Cincinnati, this is literally their game of the last two centuries. That kind of scenario can be a trap if you don’t hold up your end of the bargain.

I’m sure Saban ain’t treating this as a bye.

I never said the team wasn’t going to take this game seriously. They are and we are going to beat the shite out if that 2nd rate team

Everyone gets one right at some point. The point was no one saw us only scoring 20 against LSU and 20 against AU through 4 quarters. Every game has a life of it's own, especially with this team.

I'd certainly be happy be a with 35 point W. I'm sick of hearing about how deserving Cincy is already. It'd be nice to set the record straight, and that point being group of 5 don't generally belong with the power 5.

And flame away, and if I’m wrong I will be back here on 12/31 to take my medicine … but I think Michigan and Georgia will be competitive, I think it was revealed yesterday that Georgia is an emperor without clothes in a lot of respects and I am beginning to doubt whether their coach has it in him to get any team to the promised land. And I think if there is a rematch, it will be a repeat of yesterday as far as the outcome, because take talent out of the equation. I think Saban can get into Smart’s head with impunity and I don’t think Smart can get into Saban’s head, period.

I hope you’re right but I am a Bebes Stallings, “I will take a one-point win and go to the house” advocate. I don’t care six cacas about running the score up on them or doing an in your face to the Group of Five. Win the game, go play for another big trophy, period.

The loss of Metchie is huge. Can’t just assume someone easily replaces him with the same production.

Let's see. Michigan beat Iowa by 39 last night, dominated Ohio State, and if it wasn't for horrible officiating, would be undefeated right now.

Meanwhile Georgia looked awful yesterday and arguably has a worse coach and definitely has a worse QB than Michigan.

Michigan’s D is becoming dominant, especially the line.
