It has always been an arbitrary process

They pretend to have guidelines they broke last year

Now do they breaking them further for Bama

Stay with prescedent they set last year with eye test tOSU

You are right committee screwed themselves last year.

Penn State beat Ohio State H2H and won the conference. However they said Ohio State was better and put them in the playoff.

While, I believe OSU will be put in. I don't think they can explain anything other than that is how the votes fell. So basically it was pure politics.

Then you agree that Bama is in. The committee's job is to place the four best teams. Period.

Putting OSU in last year would be like them putting Alabama in ahead of Auburn had they blown out Georgia yesterday. The OSU favoritism is actually completely out of line and ridiculous

I don’t “ know” that. Bama has struggled and looked like crap in November down the stretch. They can’t complete a forward pass, they are weak at both lines of scrimmage and their defense is getting gashed . I’m not sure why any Ohio State proponent with eyes would concede Anything to Alabama in December 2017. This Bama team is pretty mediocre - and their fans have been telling the rest of us ( correctly imho) how much we suck .

Think about this- Alabama’s best win lost to Troy . And everybody associated with Alabama has been trolling LSU nonstop ( as they should) about how pathetic that is for three months. And now they want to claim a victory over LSU as their crowning achievement? At the same time OSU went out and beat an undefeated 12-0 team in a championship game ?

Bama has not proven itself to be a playoff team. It is that simple.

Was surprised how LSU moved their line

They definitely have issues

if ever a team deserved to be dicked out of a title, it is the Fighting Sanduskys.
