Is it just as possible that they could be 1st string?
Well, heck. Isn't it possible TJ is injured and Henry is first string to start the season?
The only logical one for Au, would be Mason, based on having a 1000 yd rushing season already. The rest are complete unknowns and not even settled in the rotation. Just like Henry.

Again, could any one of those be a starter? has one been chosen over the others yet? as compared to other teams who have fewer players on the watch list

They may still be added to the list.

Because they play in an offense that consistently has a RB vying for a top 5 spot
Meanwhile, Bama has had 2 RB's in the top 5 recently.

Thus, if whichever one gets the majority of the carries has a good chance to be on the list.
Hell, anyone's backups has that chance.

However, it is an unknown which will likely get the majority of the carries.
Then they shouldn't be on the list, if it's not even known if they will play.

Isn't it possible TJ is injured
Well thats not really whats it about. The difference here is TJ will be the starter with 65-75% of the caries, whereas starters have not been named or clearly identified yet for other teams.

What are the % of carries each Au RB listed will carry?
quote:
starters have not been named or clearly identified yet for other teams
Shouldn't any RB's from those teams be listed, after they've secured the starting job?

quote:They have had a couple on the list at times and would likely have finished last year with 2 on the list. However, I don't think they have 1 primary back up the way they did last year that will get as many touches as Yeldon did. Yeldon made himself 1B last year as opposed to a true back up. Like I said, even guys not on the watch list can certainly play their way onto the Top 5 list. They won't be excluded from consideration.
Meanwhile, Bama has had 2 RB's in the top 5 recently.

Hell, anyone's backups has that chance.
quote:Using your logic, no one should be on the list. Any could get injured and not play.

We dont know yet, that's kind of the point

Well this is May/June, so we dont know who the starters are yet. now if this was August/september it would probably be a different list.

Your logic, is that anyone that may play for certain teams, will be a top 5 watch list candidate. Logic would seem to list players who are known starters, and to hold off on the rest, to be consistent and at least partially accurate. Then adjust from there. Placing some on potential, while leaving off others, is just asinine.

Kinda my point as well.

Is this a thread where people come and argue who has the best backs? Because just like the scheduling threads, we cheat.
In this case, we have the best offense of line, so its not fair to compare backs with Alabama.
And AJ isnt any good either, just a system guy, If he didnt have the best talent around him, he would never be any good.
O wait, If Aj is not any good, and our running backs are not the best, then why the frick do we keep winning championships?
frick everybody.

You don't sound bitter or paranoid at all.

not really, your point seems to be using past stats as a determining factor, whereas WDE is just listing the people who have a chance to be in the position to be on the list, based upon who might get the majority of the carries on the teams. Some teams have that position locked up barring injury, some dont

Not at all. I'm fine with just TJ on it. Just find it biased to have some others listed. Hill shouldn't be on it either, he's indefinitely suspended from the team. If he's reinstated, then he should be placed back on it, but not until then.

several won't even be starters. How are they in position to be on it?

quote:Yes. Anyone who gets enough carries for Bama, UGA, LSU, UF, Arky, or AU will be on the list because those schools consistently have a RB vying for the top 5.
Your logic, is that anyone that may play for certain teams, will be a top 5 watch list candidate.

The first and only time I will use that term. It just fits so well here.
Why don't you tell us about the time Alabama football saved your life?
