Is this a thread where people come and argue who has the best backs? Because just like the scheduling threads, we cheat.

In this case, we have the best offense of line, so its not fair to compare backs with Alabama.

And AJ isnt any good either, just a system guy, If he didnt have the best talent around him, he would never be any good.

O wait, If Aj is not any good, and our running backs are not the best, then why the frick do we keep winning championships?

frick everybody.

The logic is really obvious

Where is the logic in listing an indefinitely suspended player on the list? Or one coming off a major knee injury?

Shifting the goal post, but I will answer. There have been countless players indefinitely suspended in the off season that have had the suspension lifted without missing significant playing time. Listing a returning player that was the best RB for a team like LSU as a freshman on a watch list is really a no brainer. If he doesn't play, he won't make the top 5.

Again, someone like Lattimore or Davis, who is a proven top RB is going to make a preseason watch list. If Yeldon tears his ACL this season, he will make this list again next year. It really isn't that difficult to understand.

Well, then Henry shouldn't be listed because of his broken leg and Fowler & Hart shouldn't be listed because of their knees as well.

So that leaves... Drake for 'bama?

Well, he only had 250+ yds last year so he doesn't belong on the list as well.

Looks like WDE got it right with only one 'bama running back.

Give me a football reason and not a who his daddy is or pop culture reason. I'm inclined to add him, I just want the reasoning spelled out.

5* RB
Quick feet
Nice moves
Good speed
Smooth athlete
215 pounds of pain as a true FR
Like butterscotch and green jelly beans
Doesn't drive a scooter
No CZ earrings (previously mentioned and ignored )
Bama wanted him - (That should do it alone for you)

Is he likely to be the starter or get enough carries? Is Matt Jones firmly ahead of him?

Hold on now, we did use the "we didn't want him anyway" card right?

MJ is the starter. Are you only taking starters?

They will split up the carries if Kelvin shows out.

He is including starters or people that who have a chance to be starters(position not locked up), as those will be the ones to get the bulk of the carries

Not exclusively, but they need to have a realistic chance at a enough carries to be a top 5 league guy.
