what does this even mean

Whole we’re debating stickies, let me introduce the GOAT coach. Although I still don’t know if we have the horses to go win it all, with Patty coaching I know we’ll maximize whatever we achieve.

She earned her way. Played games in the local Norman park when she took over. This program is 100% her success. Getting a new stadium holding 4,500 plus was all her doing. The program is self sustaining and makes enough money alone.

Let the games begin.

Going back to the end of last season, with all of that returning talent, Florida vs. Texas would have been my (and a lot of others') picks to play in the 2025 WCWS finals, and with the bracket flip, they still could. But here they are meeting in Game 1. What a treat to start the day.

I'd have been thrilled if OU got to a Super Regional this year and would have thought the rebuild was right on (if not ahead of) schedule. And here they are in the WCWS playing the only team that beat them in Norman this year (and did it twice!) vs. Tennessee. Pickens' heat vs the Sooner bats. Hell of a matchup for the second game of the WCWS.

Tech and Ole Miss: The first team to qualify for the WCWS facing the last team to make it...but that's partly just scheduling. Canady's million-dollar arm throwing to the scrappiest lineup in the field. Rebs are on a hot streak and seem to have no quit in them, but they'll have to get hotter to plate runs against arguably the best pitcher in the game.

It's never a surprise to see UCLA in OKC. A face-off of two ex-Pac 12 powers, both entering as Big Ten newcomers is perfect for the late game. I didn't watch much of either team until the Supers and have no idea what to expect. They both showed they can score plenty in their final Super games.

These could all be tough, exhausting games on Day 1. The only prediction I feel confident making is that I will get very little work done tomorrow after 11am.
