Good Game Sooners. You have a good team, but just ran into a buzz saw today. The 41 point win by the gamecocks was the largest margin of victory over an AP ranked opponent in program history. It was also OU's worst conference loss in school history. The Gamecocks have three 30+ wins over top 15 teams this year which ties the rest of all WCB combined! With that said there's plenty of basketball left to play as we've seen good teams falter at the alter come tourney time.
The game against LSU will be a tall task and tell us a little more about this Gamecocks team. There is no dominant scoring/defending/rebounding post as in years past, however there is great depth and team chemistry which overcomes a lot. Teams with a dominant post and outside shooting can cause match-up problems for this team if we are having an off night (see UCLA). A win against undefeated LSU would tie the SEC's home win streak at 69 and provide a strong leg up in the conference title race.

What’s really weird about women’s basketball is the gap between the top 3-4 teams and the rest of the top 10-20. OU is a good basketball team this year and they got beatdown . I don’t know if many sports where a few teams just dominate like no other . OU softball , UConn South Carolina basketball… the other sports the top to top 10 isn’t to far away from beating each other .

Kentucky is quietly 15-1 on the season. Kenny Brooks has done as remarkable a job as Pope in his first year. Will be interested to see how we do against South Carolina.

Of SEC teams vs all comps, your team has most wins vs top 25
OU is tied for 2nd with 3 top 25 wins. And still got blown out.
Fix our turnovers and we only lose by around 15-20.
