It's really incredible to see how far that stadium has come. In 1990 it was a borderline high school stadium. You'd think we were playing a Division I-AA or Division II school.

Stallings ball...interestingly enough that '90 season ended in our only trip to the Fiesta Bowl.

Are you talking about BDS back in the day? Wasn't it a small stadium back then?

I still don't know of any hs stadium that seats nearly 40k-DWS in 1990.

Its true. Until 1986 when it was just a lower deck on both sides, it was truly a high school look.

The 1999-2000 update put an upper deck on both sides and bleachers in the end zones.

It finally looks like a college stadium now.

What's sad is our stadium was bigger in 1990 than Vandy's is today.

I went to the Ole Miss Auburn game two years ago and I think Ole Miss has the perfect size stadium. The seats in Auburn's upper deck absolutely suck. Is it really a good thing to be able to say, hey our stadium has 20000 more shitty seats than your stadium? If I had to sit in the upper deck at Auburn I would probably just watch it at home.
