Probably still would, but then nobody would care if he was a regular guy. Everyday people aren't sympathetic towards rich people problems. Shocker, I know.

No one's forcing OBJ to play football. So sick of this mentality that athletes are enslaved to their sport and are exploited. You get paid millions of dollars to play an effin game. Grow TF up.

and if he quit football because he didn't want the fame, you would be totally ok with it and wouldn't call him a bitch?

I know you won't believe me, but yes actually I'd be fine with that. I don't believe that any person should subject themselves to a career or any other life circumstance they don't enjoy when they have the power to change their circumstances.

Nothing is difficult about your life? You don't discuss difficulties you have with anyone? (these are rhetorical questions, everyone does) How are you not a "12 year old girl"?

You're right, I don't believe you. I know with about 100% certainty that if Odell walked away from football tomorrow, every non-LSU fan on this board would laugh and say Odell is a bitch because he's rich and should shut up and deal with it. That kind of reinforces the point he was making. No one cares about celebrities as long as they are entertaining an audience, and he was merely providing what they deal with on a day-to-day, which is something that most people wouldn't like.

There are plenty of really fricking smart football players.

Sure but there are plenty of dumb ones too.
I’m not holding any high standard for these guys.

I actually agree with him. I see him as a zoo animal, although he’s more entertaining than a zoo animal. Sports offer me my favorite entertainment so i don’t care what they do

I don't whine to people. If I was famous, I would not whine and bitch and mumble on national TV.

When do I get to go on Lebron's show to talk about my problems to everyone?

Was it a dancing contract with the general public?

Zoo animals don't get paid 95 million dollars. They also are confined to a cage. If he doesn't want to be in the spotlight then maybe he should get a new job.

You might bitch if every time you ate pizza, smoked weed, and fricked white women doing coke it ended up on TMZ.

Some things are meant for the sanctity of ones home.

And now we have the root of what's really being discussed here.

Everybody stop being mean to the former LSU player.

I feel like most of you defending OBJ would be the same ones making jokes and the same points if it was any other player that didn't play for LSU
