Happy for Kyler. And Trevor Knight while not as good at football is a hell of a human being and Good Ag. Everyone made out ok

I know bro. I just wish there was a different level of football that he could compete at so we could see if he was only good because he was playing big 12 defenses. I would love to see a league that took the best players from college, once a year and built teams. Like an actual professional league. I mean, then we could see if kyler was actually good or just good at OU because of the competition.

Yes it is. He does a show I saw on YouTube with Bryce Petty from Baylor.

I can give you some inside information. I am friends with a guy whose son played with Kyler while he was at Allen in high school.

Kyler was controlled and corrupted by his dad. He had some God given talent in football and baseball, but as many teenagers know, their parents shape what they become.

He was both both loved and hated by his teammates because of this. In the end though, it has worked at pretty good for him.

This sounds about right. Supposedly his Aggie teammates cleaned out his locker for him after he quit the team. And yes his Dad, who was an Aggie legend was widely known as a pain in the arse.

However, that is why Kevin Sumlin was getting paid upwards of $5 million dollars a year. To deal with prima donna QBs and their helicopter parents. Unfortunately Sumlin was too drunk to talk to his young QB.

As much as I get annoyed with Jimbos offense, I can't imagine a scenario where he would let something like this play out. Especially at the QB spot.

He was distracted by all the gay commotion on the sidelines

No he was not successful because Kevin Sumlin couldn't manage his ego. Our 3rd string QB wrote a long post on Texags and said Sumlin did not communicate to Kyler and barely talked to him.

He was pissed because he wasn't starting and our dumb arse head coach never talked to him.

He must not have handled Allen any better. He ended up announcing he was transferring before Murray did. Allen was pretty decent in 2015 before Bama and possibly hurting his shoulder.

They both showed some promise in 2015 with some ups and downs. I didn’t think there was a clear winner at that stage in their development and figured one would leave after Spring competition. I didn’t know about Trevor transferring to A&M at the time, but even if it was known he wasn’t a sure thing to beat them out.

To have both Allen and Murray announce they were transferring before Christmas was weird.

The tell-all by Hubenak, I think, was crazy. Sumlin fricked up with both Allen and Murray and should've been booted the day after the second one left.

This has to be one of the gayest threads I have ever read on this site. He came to OU fully expecting to start after sitting one year. Baker got granted an extra year by the ncaa and Kyler didn’t bitch or leave. This thread is just a bunch of butthurt.

Sounds like his teammates liked him at OU.

Even before he announced his intent to transfer, he was telling Blake Allemand (A&M returning SS) that the starting job was his. The Aggie Baseball team was going on a CWS run in the 2016 season and didn't want his toxic bullshite.

I’m pretty sure it was Kevin Sumlin’s fault. I can’t speak to him being a good person, but he seems alright.
