And why would Sumlin not challenge?

Not a catch but who cares they were scoring anyway
Posted on 9/4/17 at 7:04 pm to LSUBeaux88
Call would have stood if reviewed

No, it's clearly not. They also didn't call the unsportsmanlike on Rosen like they should have.

Not a catch but it wouldn't have mattered A&M was done they had a minute something left and 3 downs if I'm not mistaken. Shocked it didn't get looked at total fail by the SEC crew again.

No, and because he's an idiot. Better question is why didn't it get reviewed period.

His own left knee caused the ball to bobble in his hands, but not until after his right foot was firmly down in the end zone with the ball secured in his hands firmly.
It was a catch.
It was a catch.

And herein lies the problem with football. This thread is literally 50/50 on what a catch is

Sumlin must be looking for a way out of that shite hole.
Posted on 9/4/17 at 7:12 pm to LSUBeaux88
Did he make a football move?
Posted on 9/4/17 at 7:12 pm to LSUBeaux88
I didn't think it was a catch and still don't

That's because people here don't know the rules.
It wasn't a catch. Not even particularly close really. He did not control the ball through the catch. Out of bounds is the same as hitting the ground in this instance

Dude, you don't know the damn rules. What's this "through the catch" nonsense? If he has firm control of that ball the instant his foot lands in the end zone it's a touchdown. If anything it could have been challenged but the ruling on the field would have stood.
Stop being bitches for Aggy. They lost the game in monumental fashion.

I fail to see where he doesn't have control. Maybe not a lock tight grip on the football, but it's not like the ball is bouncing around. He's got it pressed against his body as the ball is sliding around. Sliding doesn't mean bobbling

Pretty clear Sumlin had parlayed A&M plus the points and UCLA moneyline. I don't think there's any other explanation for the coaching staff's 3rd and 4th quarter decision making.
