Stoops at UK is the 2014 version of Freeze.

Hard for two teams like UK or OM to both be hot in recruiting at the same time.

Hugh Freeze used some less than legal/ethical means to recruit players to Ole Miss last year. A lot of coaches in the conference started asking questions. The fact that Ole Miss's recruiting class this year is so inferior to the class he put together last year tells me there was some truth to the rumblings.

Not at all. I expect he'll have similar classes every 3 or 4 years.

To be honest, I think their current class may be a bit underrated. Definitely some gems in there.

Yeah, sorry we didn't have the #1 recruit's brother on our team this year. We'll try to do better in the future.

Ole Miss still has a pretty decent class. Arky fans would take it.

Houston Nutt was the catalyst for last year's class.

Hugh capitalized on Nutt's move to get the older Nkemdiche.

OM always gets a decent amount of star power for whatever reasons they don't do much with it.

I don't mean this harshly (actually I do) but you have to face facts. Ole Miss is one of the toilet bowls of the SEC. They have been for over 50 years now. Other than 2003, Ole Miss hasn't come close to winning the West. How the hell does a coach, who has never been the head coach at a top tier school mind you, come in to a school like that and immediately recruit all of those five stars to Oxford in the same class?

Color me skeptical, but I'm fairly certain some improprieties went down in some of those kids' recruitments. I have no sources. That's just my opinion.

Mark Richt and Nick Saban both asked questions about that offensive lineman they were both after toward the end of last year's recruiting cycle. He was down to Alabama and Georgia before Ole Miss just came out of nowhere and snatched him up. BOL "insiders" claimed Saban took that case to Slive.

You should probably learn to keep your opinions to yourself unless you can back them up. Get some sources or just dont respond.

This years class is not equal to last year but is probably the 2nd best Ole Miss class in the last 10 years. Losing to Missouri and Miss State crushed the Ole Miss momentum. They need to win some big games this year if Ole Miss wants to be elite. Ole Miss has sooo much potential to become an SEC power. Just needs to continue winning. I think Freeze is the right coach for the job and his young players are only getting better.

For all you Aggies and Mizzou fans, who just joined the conference, this is why ALL the rest of the SEC despises Alabama and its fans.

They are incapable of winning with class and dignity and always have been; instead, their own insecurities cause them to behave obnoxiously towards programs that have not been as successful (because the self-esteem of the entire fan base and population of the state revolves around winning college football games).

Thanks.

Seriously? You really expect me to take anything you say serious when you can't even remember Tunsil's fricking name?

I'd call it more cash in the hand.

The fact that an Alabama fan mentions cheating is just precious. I always find them humorous.
