You guys are still terrible on Defense. The only thing you guys have is a literally unstoppable QB. Who just happens to be the GOAT in CFB. And maybe a freak D line man

I guess that's all you need...

He's been good but I think next year, should he stay, will be a better indicator of just how good he is. Any coordinator would look great if they had the ideal QB for their offense with an experienced o-line.

I think Malzahn did pretty damn good at AU, and he has done very well wherever he has been.

He's succeeded at everything he has done. He is that good. Glad he's going to dead end Vandy.

vandy going after a hot name like malzahn may mean they are about to pony up and start playing big boy football, with as much money and as well connected as vandy alum are i'm not sure the job will be a dead end for long.

They are so far behind in the arms race I don't know how they could hope to even be competitive at this point. I've read that Vandy has more money than any other school in the SEC, but I call BS. If they do, they're spending it on books and not payrolling studs, like Auburn has to in order to win.

vandy has so much more money than the closest school in the SEC its a joke, they have been spending on academics but god help us if they start dumping funds into recruiting and coaches.

Are there any figures available as to how much money they have?

No he is vastly improved their offense from 08 to 09. Their defense has been abyssmal but even without Cam they were producng the yr before. He turned what should have been two losing seasons into winning seasons. Cam is definitely the reasonthey are going to the NCG but without him and Malzahn could you see Auburn winning 7 games even with the current talent? Outside of Dyer there are no other real stars on that offense but Gus used the ability they do have and gets the most out of it even if I don't care for his shemes

I don't know how long he has been there, but without Cam Newton isn't he just a mediocre offensive coordinator?
