Take the Bama approach with this shite.

Yeah, the only NC of Bama's that anyone should have a problem with is 1941. If Alabama counted the way you think they do, Alabama would include 1966 and 1977 in their count.

Baseball (6)
1991, 1993, 1996, 1997, 2000, 2009

** – Discontinued as NCAA sport

Looks like it has not been updated with LSU's 2021 title for Men's Outdoor T&F. That makes 49.

LSU has yet to claim the 1908 football national championship but that would make it 50.

We better do it soon or it might end up on the side of A&M's stadium

Wait so y’all count basketball even though not a single publication credits you for a basketball NC? Not a single one.

The only people that give LSU a NC is their fans.
Looks like 48 to me.

And y’all make fun of Bama hahahahaha

All you need to know is that all of Bama's are legit. We probably deserve even more.

As a Mississippi State fan, I don’t think I have to tell you why I have a problem with that one lol.

LSU's basketball title claim is made, as it was at the time it happened, because the team was invited to play Pittsburgh in Atlantic City after the completion of the 1935 regular season. Still a few years before the NIT or the NCAA started having championship tournaments, the American Legion sponsored the game which LSU won 41-37. At the time, being invited to play in such a game was all there was, and the matchup was billed as the national championship game -- the best team from the south against the best team from the east. Its not something LSU decided to go back and claim 50 years after it happened. Of note, Sparky Wade, LSU's first all american basketball player, led that team.

Here is a newspaper clipping from 1936 advertising an upcoming rematch of the 1935 championship game. The rematch looked to be especially attractive to fans since it would feature loud speaker announcement.

This is 49. I've seen the #50 before but I'm not sure what the 50th is. Could claim 1908 football, but don't yet.

It's self-claimed, even worse than any of Bama's.

Kinda odd that's an SEC Sport but not a NCAA one. Is this still used for scholarship purposes then? Related to title 9

Lmao I love it. Nobody outside of LSU fans give them a basketball NC.

I guess we have 25 basketball NCs and about 10 football if our fans are able to just give ourselves championships that aren’t real hahahahaha.

Thought I had seen it all

You don’t have a basketball NC. It’s published nowhere and nobody outside of LSU fans give you a basketball NC.

I’ve even seen it brought up in the past when Brady was the coach and y’all were in the final four that you would be going for your first basketball NC

The delusion is strong with LSUs basketball claim
