He didn't start until his senior year as he played for Southlake Carroll behind Chase Daniels.
He led his team to the Texas 5A championship his senior year running the spread.

I'm pretty sure he was rated higher than Sam Bradford.FWIW

Yeah, and what a senior year. Hope it carries over into college. I think he verballed to TT before decommitting.

56 TDs vs 9 interceptions (56 tds is a record)
4,636 yards (another record)
16-0 record
5A state championship

Except for Daniel, Carrol is the High School version of Florida who wins in a system but whose players don't succeed at the next level!

I have said before I dont think qb will be our problem. If he throws a lot of picks it will be because he is always under pressure. Our pass blocking with Andre wasnt great but with out him it will be abyssmal/ Our OLine is not good at run blocking if you cant run effectively you will not pass effectively.

Be positive, damnit. We don't know shite until the first game against VT. Stop whining until you know something.

Not whining just setting the bar low. Look we lost 2 AA and leaders and they looked bad in the spring game. Even us gumps can add.

You can't compare going from high school to college and going from college to pro. Going to the pros is a much bigger jump.

Drew Brees has done a pretty fricking good job of succeeding at all levels and he played at Southlake Carrol.
