I see A&M's move to the SEC as being more detrimental to the Oklahoma schools, and somewhat to Univ. of Texas more than any harm to LSU.

I'll take it a step further. It actually HELPS LSU... and Bama....and Arky....
Y'all think Slive didn't consider the consequences of his actions? You think he would make such a move to the detriment of current members?
What he did is make the SEC the NFL minor league. If you can play for an SEC school, you have a good shot at the next level. Non-SEC....practice squad....

As long as we keep beating them this is a moot point

The amount of replies on this thread tells the story.
LSU fricked.

TAMU is not going to take recruits from a National Caliber team like LSU.

Not reading this stupid arse thread from a gump who couldn't even spell "helmet" last night. Go check our recruiting rankings. K thanks.
We're ranked higher than LSU by 3/4 major services. You're exactly one spot ahead in the service's rankings that has us behind you.
We have essentially the same amount of 4 stars.
In sum, terrible point.

I think maybe 1 more year, they need to get back to the
bcs championship game next year and win if not, they could fall back into the curley hallman years.
Just my personal opinion, but LSU needs to bring back Phil Bennett as DC A.S.A.P. Get that edge back in recruiting top Texas defensive talent.

You must have missed where the #1 player in TX picked A&M over LSU yesterday. Or top 3 in '14 Nick Harvey, or #4 DT Justin Manning. Or Kyrion Parker who decommitted from LSU after Sumlin offered. Or #1 linebacker in '14 Hoza Scott.
Your quote just proves you know dick about recruiting.

I think it could go a couple of different ways.
In the past, if a kid from Texas wanted to play in the SEC, his first choice may likely have been LSU. Now, it is quite possibly TAM.
On the other hand, the SEC gets more publicity in Texas now so it is up to SEC schools to go take recruits from UT, OU, OSU, etc.

We're definitely more of a threat, but it won't hurt LSU all that much. I see us battling over 3-5 players a year. The ones we get will be from texas...

We've never really competed over that many players before.
It feels like mostly what we've gone into Texas after the last few years was QBs, and Texas has a couple dozen D1 caliber QBs coming out of high school every year.
