Bama's dead last in punting average &
net punting average. 35.4 & 35.2

Everything else is beautiful!

#1 offense P5
#1 Defense SEC 18th Nat'l
#1 fgs SEC #3 Nat'l perfect on all
Kicks! FGS 8-8 Xpts 52-52
#14 punt avg & Net punt avg SEC
#112 N'at'l punt avg & net punt avg
.

I know I'm being picky, but what gives?

Bama never has good kickers. It usually doesn't matter.

This year we have a very good kicker and no good punters, which is better than having no good kickers or punters.

Our FG kicker hasn't missed a kick yet. We missed like 12 extra points between last year and 2018. That's improvement.

Your punter is last because he is often kicking into a short field...

LSU had that issue last yr. Von Rosenberg has all the room in the world to kick into this year. Hence his average is awesome.

FWIW, JK Scott was awesome

Doesn't matter where he punts from, it'll be a short boot!

J.K. Scott was and still is awesome!

Skyler Delong was averaging 48+ in highschool. He comes to Bama and shanks every other punt..

It doesn't make sense!

Find the team with the best punter in the country, then take their backup. Seems to have worked out pretty well for Mizzou

Agreed, in this case the yardage stats don't really tell the whole story, as some of these kicks were really well placed.

Between solid inside the 20 kicks and consistently kicking it at least 35 yards........I'm happy with it.

The thing that our punter can't do is just totally miss a kick 1-2 times a game and punt it 13 yards (which was the case before). It's a low bar, but it's the bar.

J.K. Scott was fantastic. He kept Alabama in the game against Ohio State in the playoffs.
