Chapman went up against SEC OL double teams all year with an injury.

Alabama's RB depth takes a huge dip south after Lacy. That could be a problem.

Yeah cause Fowler is way down there at 6.9 per... A whole .2 drop.. Fowler is a big time bruiser with speed he will take some souls this year

While I agree Fowler will be a beast, he put up those numbers in garbage time.

I'll jump on the Lacey bandwagon once he finishes half a season, much less the entire one. He'll be injured by the Missouri game. Not that I want that to happen but I don't put a lot of stock in injury prone players and tend to take the glass half empty approach.

So are you saying Knile Davis will be injured during the Bama game?

What are you basing talent on if experience doesn't play a role in it?

What I've seen. Derp.

Trust me, experience won't matter running behind our OL. Plus, we haven't had a 5 star bust under Saban.

Meh. Rantard Bammers aren't as bad, but they seem more drunk than anything.

gotta love all the LSU fans bragging about their RB's. The ones that kept getting stuffed by the Alabama D in two games last year, the ones that got nothing between the tackles at all.

You win games at the line of scrimmage. Alabama will have a hell of an OL and has a ton back up front on defense too.

Seems to me like I saw Eddie Lacy having some success against that vaunted LSU D last year. Got to give them credit, they had the second best D out there and we didn't exactly set the woods on fire on the ground but Bama was able to run the football better than most aganst them.

You mean the garbage time when he's running behind a 2nd/3rd team OL and the other team knows we aren't passing, often with the other teams starters in the game...? That garbage time.. over 6 yards per carry with over 50 carries is not easy.

So you've seen five running backs on Alabama's depth chart that are equal to the talent LSU's bringing at the position?

Got it.

Any decent runner behind a line with 3 potential 1st team All Americans is going to do very well. Lacy does not have Richardson's talent but he will have a solid season barring injury. And even if he is injured, Fowler, Yeldon, and Hart will be just fine.

HB is a very overrated position. When is the last time you heard someone say "Boy they would be a really good team if they could just find a decent running back." They are a dime a dozen and they all do the same thing except for an elite few.
