this thread has become tedious. can't we all just agree that Eddie Lacy is better than all of LSU's 9672.33 proven backs put together and just be done with it?

He was the relief back. Fowler was the mop up duty back. If Lacy carried it in the fourth it was in a close game. (MSU, LSU, etc)

It's safe to say if there is a thread about TM7 or E Lacey,they are either world class or suck arse. No less than 15 pages stating either.

I think the running will fall off a little, not because of lacy i think we will pass first to open up the running game, i don't think no one will be able to key on us this year like they have in the last few years.

Non of LSU B level Backs have done shite vs Bama. Nobody cares if non of them were good enough to separate themselves to become the lead back. That doesn't make them all good.
I'd rather have one McFadden or a tandem of Cadillac and Ronnie Brown then 4 or 5 avg Backs that don't scare anybody. As far as Talent only Yeldon has a chance to be elite.

5. Ford
6.Fowler
7. Ware
8.Hart

I don't know where people are getting this. Of course, I can understand all the excitement about Yeldon arriving in T-Town, but Lacy, Hart, and Fowler are all GREAT running backs, ESPECIALLY Lacy. If Lacy can conquer this turf toe, then he is going to be scary good.

Honestly, people think Fowler is fat. He's muscle. All muscle. If he lost a little weight, maybe gets down to 230ish, and can get faster and work on his agility he'd be a very good back.
Lacy can move a pile, against LSU in the BCSCG he had two first down runs right after each other where he carried LSU defenders. He's faster than Ingram/Richardson, and has nice moves too. People just want him to be bad. Same can be said for the people who said Richardson wasn't that great before last season and now they suddenly act like they never said it.
