Sorry, injuries suck. We've already had a couple too but not season ending (or so I think).

Gotta trust your linemen. They gotta be pasty white guys. You'd know if you were a real football guy.

That Tennessee field has a way of screwing up knees.

Yeah, because the team actually practices in Neyland stadium

I tore my meniscus just from looking at that field on a tv screen.

Sorry to hear this. Injuries in camp or offseason are the worst.

Hope he has a speedy and full recovery!

Tech fans never miss an opportunity to ridicule their reputation as a dirty blocking team. That's because they know it's well earned and it's more than just cut blocks. You get that many knee divers all game long, you'll have more clips and more chop blocks than most teams, even if it wasn't intended.

If UT's lucky, Johnson will dial back the low blocks in this game. I doubt he wants the announcers focusing on that in a high profile opening game on Monday night.

Ummm....how many of your linemen have suffered a knee injury vs. GT over the last 9 years? Here is a hint... None that I can recall.

However I do seem to recall your defense twisting Josh Nesbitts ankle in 2009 at the bottom of the pile and took him out and Kublanow doing a low block from behind on Shy Tuttle. So this is rich coming from you.

Deangelo Tyson got knocked out of the game early in 2011 with a severe ankle injury from your center's nasty block. Not only missed the rest of that game, but also the SECCG against LSU, which left us with little depth at DT, missed the bowl game and also couldn't train to run at the NFL combine. In 2014, I believe it was Mike Thornton who was knocked out of the game by a bs clip from directly behind by Shaq Mason or one of your other OL.

Those are at least two injuries I can recall without even looking, and I've seen other injuries in tech games too. Not gonna waste my time looking them up, but I've watched some non-UGA games closely and your team should be penalized half a dozen times per game IMO. But go ahead and do your "we're innocent" song and dance. Every team you face knows what to expect.

Ah, nice deflection. The topic starts on a team that uses low blocks as a matter of routine, and has a reputation as a dirty blocking team. Then you mention one illegal block that a UGA player has, as if that makes things equal. Unfortunately, your reputation is out there now, and trying to transfer that to your big brother simply won't work.

Nah man, 280 lb dudes diving at the knees of 300 lb dudes 50 times a game is totally safe. It's especially safe when another blocker goes high on the same 300 lb dude.

It's sad that a school as large as Georgia Tech has to resort to a blocking scheme used by 2A Catholic high schools.

Coming from that juggernaut that has Derek Dooley in its recent past and Bitch Jones as its current coach, this is rich.

Hall has never really been healthy. This isn't much of a surprise and I'm not sure many actually counted on him starting this season given his health.
