There's always been speculation that Franklin is a bit crooked. Does that have a part in assistants potentially leaving?

Jancek is one of the worst DCs I've ever seen.
Azzanni is one of the worst WR coaches I've ever seen.
Mahoney is terrible. Martinez is terrible.
Butch has a chance to really upgrade the staff and gain some brownie points with me.

Franklin's program is turning into an absolute mess. Might not even survive next year- people are getting really impatient. Despite the circumstances, there's no reason at all Penn State should look so utterly lost. A change bigger than Donovan is needed.

I've been at my parents all Christmas break so I haven't seen anything local or even talked to anyone. But it wouldn't surprise me at all. He flirted with teams last year and got a big raise. I don't know if the money is going to be enough.
You're seeing today why he's probably extremely frustrated. Offense can't stay on the field- we'll go 7 drives without a first down at times. It makes his stats look bad, even though the defense is very good. We'll see. As far as I know, he's not unhappy here but I have to wonder if Donovan getting fired will have some backfire for Franklin's long-term staff.

Im sure you said the same thing about martinez and jancek and they whooped that arse this year, also your fans told me all offseason how good brian schottenheimer was so forgive me if i dont take what you say very seriously. So are all your coaches still wearing alabama attire and discussing how they beat the hell out of yall this year?

I will be surprised if he leaves.
He has been loyal to Franklin and I am sure Franklin will try to pressure him.
He would be a great pick up for Tenn, however.
And if you watch Penn State, it is obvious that defense is not their problem. That Oline might be the worst in p5 this year.
