Gerald Jones just isn't one of the leagues elite receivers. He has no business talking like this. He is a moron.

It's the same as some dumbarse DL/LB saying they are gonna shutdown Mark Ingram. Defenses are lucky to contain him but would be stupid to say they are going to shut him down IMO.

another proof that you know nothing about him. he missed half of the season last year due to injury. when he came back on UGA game that's when J.Crompton and offense began to click. he scored a TD on bama game as well.

I say Peterson gives up 3 receptions at most. I could see Peterson biting on a fake here or there but other than that, PP could probably limit jones with one hand tied behind his back.

How in the hell is Jones going to roast somebody when he lacks a QB that can accurately throw the ball bc he is running for his life?

you're right about that one. no way UT wins this game.
but about G.Jones, I'm not blindly defending him or talking out of my arse just because he's a vol. if any other receiver talked smack like this I'd probably do a faceplam. but by watching Jones over the years I've had strong faith in him and I've always thought he was underrated. believe it or not he can back it up and it's a perfect opportunity too, because of Patrick Peterson's renown.
