Get some more alters, V&S. Even 50 can't make up for the fact that you're a lonely moron.

I remember thinking this guy was gonna be really good and a tone setter for that defense.

Instead, he never did shite.

But, most all programs have had a guy like that.

Yep, I thought he was gonna be the anchor with his combination of size, speed, and strength.

Staff had him drop a lot of weight, which turned out horribly considering we have had a S&C program more akin to junior high football.

Was decent his freshman year but seemed to get much worse

Firing Lawson ranks up there with promoting Scott to OC in terms of things that nailed Butch's coffin door shut.

Interesting now that he has a Defensive guy like Pruitt coming in to get him prepped for the league.

Sad how much of a fail all the legacy recruits in jones' first class turned out to be. Jones was a horrible player dev coach.

When McKenzie lured Drew Richmond to Tennersee with a promise to massage his prostate on a daily basis, it was the end of the beginning for Ole Miss.

I think people will be surprised by how high he gets drafted. His stock is much higher with NFL scouts than you think. He's an ideal 3-4 nose tackle. He does a good job taking on double teams and plugging his gaps. He also showed this year he can actually get some decent pressure up the middle on passing downs as a bull rusher.

Kahlil McKenzie will a solid showing at the combine could get drafted in the 3rd round.

He's a lot better than most think.

He's a 3-4 nose tackle at the next level. His job isn't to get sacks and TFLs. Its to take up double teams, plug his gaps, and on 3rd down (if he's actually on the field) to get pressure up the middle so the QB moves out of the pocket.

Even the best nose tackles in the NFL rarely gets sacks or TFLs. They do the dirty work that goes unnoticed by the typical fan that is just watching where the ball does during the game.

Those are actually really good stats for a 1-technique DT.

Go and look up all-world Alabama DT Da'Ron Payne's 2017 stats. They are actually worse than Kahlil when it comes to sacks and TFLs. And he plays a similar position in the 3-4 (0-tecnique) that Kahlil plays in the 4-3 (1-technique).

Nose tackles don't get much in the way of sacks or TFLs. Their job is to do the dirty work that doesn't show up on the stat sheet like taking up double teams, plugging gaps, and collapsing the pocket from the middle on passing downs so the defensive ends can get sacks.

Kahlil McKenzie will play for a long time in the NFL as a nose tackle.

And even so, I've seen a lot of players under Muschamp/McElwain who looked like diggity dogshit when they were at Florida.

I watched D.J. Humphries get absolutely blown out of the water and it was like he was on wheels for most of the year -- went in round one as a junior.

If McKenzie is leaving, he's probably got solid information.
