It was a brief moment but scorned nonetheless.
Now kiffin shows up to Knoxville to talk to a portal qb on his visit to y’all and then even after maxing yall out he wins…

I definitely had fun watching OM lose.
I made multiple threads during the game about that.
I didn’t make any about alabamas embarrassing failure because it’s kinda just irrelevant at this point.

I don’t hate Lane. He sucks for leaving the way he did, but it was almost going to be messy when it finally happened. He elevated our program and showed us we can compete with anyone. Props.

Like I said.
I’m very happy ole miss lost.
I happily reminded them that despite this being the best season of their lifetime they still won absolutely nothing.

It depends on the fan. I honestly never had a huge issue with him leaving. I didn’t like it, but I understood it, he loved USC, and they doubled his salary in the process. I didn’t particularly like how he handled things immediately after his departure, but oh well.
There are a lot of people who still have a level of disdain for him that’s hard to describe. They view everything that happened between 2010 and 2020 as a direct consequence of his departure. I don’t. It’s not his fault that multiple ADs botched coaching searches after he left. So, I think a large part of the fan base still despises him, but it’s been 16 years, so I honestly don’t particularly care.
