VOLS will go toe to toe with Sooners only to be sabotaged by awful QB play, just like we were in 2014.

Vols have young special talents at ILB with Crouch and To'o To'o. They will be salt on defense this year if they can build some depth at defensive tackle.

Hope VOLS win but have a pretty sizeable OU -7 ticket I am splitting with several of my buddies from my last trip to Vegas. Believe it’s now -9 last time I checked.

If Tennessee disguises themselves LSU, then OU is fricked!

I will stand by my statement that a new QB in his 2nd game as a starter will not be as good as 2 players who won the Heisman trophy, and that there will at least be some kind of adjustment period for the new guy.
Again- that is not what is being argued. Reading comprehension is severely lacking in this thread.

Everyone just assumes Rattler will be the starting OU quarterback. That isn't nailed down just yet. Most of us fans are hoping he's the guy, but he will have to battle it out with a guy named Tanner Mordecai.
Anyhoo, Oklahoma loses a lot on offense this season (if there is a season.) We lost our most experienced RB to Ohio State in a portal move. Lamb is gone. OL is new.
Should be a pretty even matchup.

I cant believe were having this discussion. We’re SEC and blOU is big 12-2. How can the Vols even consider losing? We dont lose to any team in that inferior conference, except for GEORGIA in Bowl Games, they’re barely a “power conference”

Chance will be zero because the game will not be played in 2020.

Early in the season, Tenn has a less than zero chance to beat Oklahoma

OU lost a lot of starters and is breaking in a new QB (who most believe is not nearly as good as their previous few).
Do people still think Jalen Hurts was a great college QB?

Rattler is a much better QB than Hurts.
He will be scary good next year
