He has since deleted it after the backlash by Tennessee fans.

Has Pruitt lost the team?

Truth...the lack of effort in Tennessee’s 1st game is an indication that he does not seem to have much control of his team if any..this might/ will be a very long season for the Vols...

Tennessee will never find its way back to the top. You’d think they would at least luck up and hire a good coach, just not the case with them.

They had a chance with Leach. Vololol internal politics fricked it up.

Never heard of this kid but obviously the players don’t care. I won’t fault him for not acting like they do.

Loss is pretty funny if you think about it.

Finebaum reported today that an ex-SEC coach studied the film and clearly saw several Tennessee players quit in their play.

That's a sure sign that the players are not supporting Pruitt and don't believe in him. With this, I wouldn't be surprised to see Tennessee go 0-12 this year. Tragic.

I’m glad he is not on my team. That is pitiful

He never really had the team. Likely a split locker room and toxic atmosphere.

These kids have nothing to play for outside of the NFL and obviously that isn’t happening for 99% of these kids. Who cares whether you win 4 or 5 games or 2 or 3? At least this makes the season somewhat interesting.

Big Orange Sunday comments by Doug Matthews were that Ignont shouldn’t be on the field and Warrior was just a body out there. Both were rated recruits who aren’t playing.

Has lost to a FCS team while coaching a P5 team.

Perfect fit.
