Viewing preferences on gameday......

Assuming youre not AT the game obviously:
Do you prefer to watch it alone in solitude, scream, and drink more as the game spirals in the wrong direction (Me)
with a group of friends at someones house/apt, or at a bar?

Group. Preferably mixed with fans of both teams.
At a private home. Bar will do, if necessary.
Eat sushi and drink scotch.
Beer during the game. (just easier and faster)

In college I could not stand to watch the game with chicks, their commentary drove me insane.

Usually for the one or two away games that I dont attend, I like to go up to my friends mountain house, roast oysters, drink beer and watch it with friends. I cant do the whole bar scene, because you cant really hear the announcers, the hits, the crowd, etc.

I usually watch it with my Dad and brother, my wife watches with me if we're winning.

I like to watch on my couch with a beer in hand and grill fired up on the deck. I pause the DVR and don't start watching until 15 or 20 minutes after kickoff. That way, I can skip through commercials. The game catches up around halftime. I pause through halftime, and do the same thing for the second half.

Prefer to watch the bigger games in solitude. If we struggle....shite gets real and i'd prefer not to cause my scene in public. Agree with the OP as well...females tend to ruin the gameday atmosphere for me.

I don't go anywhere and don't want anyone coming over.
Have four tv's tuned in to the game (two facing different directions in the den, one in the kitchen, one in the bedroom that can be seen from the bathroom).
I smoke when the Tigers are on defense. Don't smoke in the house so I open the door and stand outside in the doorway like an idiot!
Hell, I won't even answer the phone except during halftime!

I like good sushi, and I'm a healthy eater for the most part, but sushi on gameday is a new one for me.
I usually go to bars which, just as TD's said, have good chicken and beer. If I'm at home or a friends house, then it's brats or homemade burgers on the grill (frozen patties are only acceptable if you're cooking for lots of people and don't have time to make patties).
For me, football is like boozin: I'd rather just not do it alone.
And I only drink cheap beer at the bars because they've usually got them on special (cheap Miller or something). If I'm at home, I buy a couple six packs of craft beers; maybe some German wheats or some high-gravity American ales.

I do the same shite, dont know why because it still creeeps into the house/apt and smells anyway. Sometimes Ill stand outside and open the blinds and watch through the window, but that'll last about 2 min before im back in the doorway stinking up the place.

If we're not playing or already have played, the best place for me is a room with a pool table, a few friends, cheap beer, and about ten tvs
