Ok...I understand hyperbole...but this just isn't accurate. Ole Miss only had 18 injuries requiring stoppage of play, (and only 11 in the 4th quarter).
Granted, most of the injuries were on defensive players...but looking at the injury report this week, there are only 2 offensive players listed that were injured on Saturday. Credit must be given to the Ole Miss training staff to have rehabilitated so many injured defenders that they are all ready to go on Saturday.
Injury Report:
Braylon Sanders - WR - Questionable
Matt Corral - QB - Doubtful

I ask because I honestly don't know: how many times did Tennessee players stop play for injuries? I know there were a few for them, but not nearly as many as us.

They really just need to update the 12 man on the field rule to exclude players who are trying to get off and take no part in the play.
It made sense in the old huddle offenses to do the count immediately, but with hurry up offenses, kids are just trying to get off the field and get flagged for a 5 yard penalty because they can't run fast enough.
Less stupid playing the rules and more playing football.

There was 1 that was absolutely not legit. Lineman running to the sideline and play clock was about to expire, so he laid down. Other than that:
Hooker was injured on the last series and will miss next week's game against Bama;
Cade Mays was injured on a play where the ball was snapped, and the refs blew a whistle to review a horrible spot...he didn't return and is probably out against Bama;
Jabari Smalls injured his leg, but I think he went back in later in the game.
Those were all offensive players.
On Defense...
Trevon Flowers went down when he landed wrong on his shoulder breaking up a pass in the endzone (which really hurt UT not having him in the next play).
Warren Burrell twisted an ankle...but went back in after sitting out a few plays.
So, that looks like 1 flop and 5 legit injuries on UT's side that I recall.

Gotcha. I really didn't know. Things were, uhh, a little hazy in the fourth quarter for some reason. Must've been all the mustard gas in the air, or maybe it was the gigantic steins of beer at Schulz Brau?

Tennessee started doing it in response after the 10th or so OM fake. “If you can’t beat em, join em.”
Yeah right, how is the sand?

You don't know what the coach was saying. He could have been saying "If you are fricking injured, get on the ground and let the fricking trainers check you out!"
We don’t know…..just like every single TN player’s injury was legit while every single Ole Miss injury was not……

And anytime that Iton, Springer or Campbell got hurt our entire fan base was on their knees praying it wasn’t serious…..we are razor thing on the DL plus Campbell and Springer are arguably 2 of the 3 best players we have on defense….we couldn’t afford to loose them even for a play!
