I know you are obsessed with us so ill keep you updated on reality. Jones had 2 season ending injuries in his career and barely played during his Aggie career. He flashed potential though and if he could stay healthy would have been a contributor.

He only played in 2022 because of a rash of injuries but even then his PT was limited. He got hurt again towards the end of the year and it looked pretty serious.

A&M currently has 71 scholarships being used for the 2023 roster. We have 14 spots to fill between now and August. I expect we will lose a couple more depth guys before it's all said and done.

We do have some serious work to do in the portal to build depth. You are correct about that. WR, LB, and DB are the big needs.

Now it kinda sounds like an aggy football game score from this season.

No one forecasted that season, no one forecasted these temperatures...

Don't forget 4 star freshmen DL Anthony Lucas who although he was suspended after SC is now back with the team and already showed that he is a stud.

Aggies have an embarrassment of riches on DL. Best wishes to Adarious Jones. Hopefully gets PT somewhere else. And he opens a spot for us at a position of need.

Might help LSU recover after Achane ran over, around, and through you all night.

I dont know how we will ever get along without uh, what was his name again?

i am so humbled though at the concern the nation has for my Aggie roster. i wonder why they are so.

Are you saying losing all this depth on the defensive side of the ball is okay?
With NIL and the portal, no one will be able to maintain much depth.

It is what it is.

I agree with this to a certain extent but A&M is setting up to have about a 50% roster turnover which is excessive, even in the portal era.

Shhhh...they've lost more than anyone else in the country.

But just like Jimbo's results they are fine with this.

As long as they get their one or two wins a year.

LSU and Bama

JFC do a little bit of research. We are pretty deep on DL and think we can replace his 1 tackle somehow.

You suck at this btw.

I don't follow Aggie football closely, but there has to be some cause for concern in losing 42 players to the portal. Maybe not this kid specifically, but overall.

We currently have 53 players on scholarship. We have 18 signees for the 2023 class. 53+18 =71.

You can have 85 players on scholarship at any given time.

85-71 = 14 remaining spots for 2023.

Double check my math here but it looks correct.

That’s a different question than shitstain OP posted.

Yes, a concern but considering the record, not a surprise. Also, in todays world it seems okay for tot her teams to contact players on the roster unofficially to see if they will transfer.

Overall we are losing very few starters… I think it is only 1. Fisher reloaded quite well with this class and just had another slam dunk 5 star commit today. Ags signed 5 of top 50 players in state of Texas. Not worried in the least.
