I like this guy...he seems to have a good balance between wisdom about the game/what it takes and how to relate to young players. Not surprising that he has been described as a powerful recruiter.

Trooper Quotes:
"Drops are not tolerated or accepted at Auburn"

"We call that the headache drill. Since they're giving me a headache, I think it's only right that they get one too."

On WR's blocking -- "These guys have to be tough because that's what Auburn football is all about".

Trooper Taylor -- "Chicks dig the deep ball." LOL.

The scary part was Trooper saying "we focus on the fundamentals that they haven't had".

Not too hard to believe though, eh? The proof has been in the pudding (or lack thereof).

Great interview. No wonder Taylor has a reputation as an outstanding recruiter.

Trooper is a clown, but in a good way.

He improved our receivers while he was here. He didn't do much in recruiting as it turns out.

AU fans should see plenty of towel waving and chest bumping during games. He'll also chest bump fans during the Tiger Walk(?) as he did on the Vol Walk.

Yes, he does do the chest bump. Beware of it. It can be powerful.

I'm not sure where he got that reputation, as he didn't earn it at either UT or Oklahoma St. He was a fair recruiter.

He is a very good position coach, however.

Talk to Eric Berry about it(and don't try to claim the Chavis connection). You realize just because you coach a certain position doesn't mean you recruit that position(unless they are in your area.
