Population of Mississippi - 3 million
Population of Texas - 25 million
Your student population is somewhere in the neighborhood of 60,000 people.
Our Oxford campus population is a bit under 20,000.
Your state is 8 times the size of Mississippi. Your stadium is not even double the size of ours.
I'm actually embarrassed that with all of the alumni and the size of your state that you are only at a mere 102,000.
A state like Alabama or Louisiana is on par in stadium size with a school in Texas that has 60,000 students and 26 million residents.
I'm not sure you've got much to brag about here.

At least Ole Miss can legitimately fly a Western Division Champion banner from 2003. And your fellow recent entrant Missouri has had no trouble hanging a couple of their own. Until you have something to put on one, those are just words with absolutely no meaning when it comes to the pecking order of the SEC. None.
Football Titles. Win some. Banners. Hang some. Until then, NOTHING else matters. Stay at the back of the line with UK and Vandy.

Well they are all moving here in droves, so it's not that much of a joke. No one is going to Mississippi.
