i have never been completely sold on les. Lately its gotten worse mainly bc i hate him making excuses.

eta: it sounds spoiled but i think we should have more wins in his span here than we do.

I see nothing wrong with this view and feel regretfull that I actually think the same...

I think the bar should be set this high at LSU for a long time. We have some advantages over alot of schools so there is no reason for us to not be good.

You think me, duke, and Lucklylee might have been on to something?
Don't worry. It took me two years to stop protecting O.

I think Les is an awesome person and a decent coach, but I don't think he has the capability to coach an elite program. LSU better be looking for a good replacement. BTW, Would you like to join in on an online dynasty?

im okay with expecting gr8ness out of our program, but how can you not see miles as a good coach after seeing him with crystal in his hands? i for one think it was just a perfect storm last year with one qb gone, another knocked stupid, and the third had a meltdown per game. co DC's failed and he changed that. IMO he has still kept LSU an elite sec program. jesus we arent miss state......vandy......and when theres blood in the water even a pig takes a bite....we lost the arkansass, im over it and looking to the future.

i was never sold on les all the way. luckylee is a tard though and just happened to hitch his wagon to yall. His hate wasn't thought out though it was just general hate and hope.

i could careless about how a coach is as a person. If he can win he can win.

when is this dynasty happening? i don't know when my live runs out

he is a good coach. I just think LSU is good enough to draw elite type coaches. Yea we aren't vandy and state but another year like last year and he has to be replaced. I don't want us to go back to the 90s so maybe im jumping the gun on somethings.

also larry coker won a title and no one would confuse him for a good coach. les is clearly better than larry but that title doesn't make les untouchable.

We could have a worse coach but i think we could do better.

Ron Zook might be looking for employment soon. He would get it corrected.

Honestly though what Elite coach would leave where he is and come here?

Remember Carroll, Richt, Stoops, were all pretty much unproven before they got their current gig. We never know where the next elite coach will come from.

i agree that if we repeat last years debacle he should be out. but i refuse to fuel miles haters all around this board. if im riding the same wagon as a miles hating arky then im on the wrong bus. if im staring an 8 win record in the face at the end of this "reformulated" season then ill be right by you and yelling louder for miles' arse on a platter.

I care a little bit. Winning is more important than who the coach is, though.

I think LSU should be able to pick up an Elite coach.

We are starting tonight.
Your team has to be a CUSA west team that isn't good. Duke is Tulane.

Me and Batteman are Memphis and UAB in the east

I agree its tough to get a elite guy to leave and I understand we were under the gun as far as time as well bc of how saban left us.

Butch Davis and Urban Meyer were my choices for a replacement when Saban left.

Also, I wanted to see Del Rio get a shot

Les>zooker

though they are both the same type of coach in a way.
They can turn a mediocre team (Illinois, Okie State) Into a periennial top 25er because they are great recruiters.

Damn, the rant has some stupid people on it.

Anyway, yea I will admit I did not know much about Les prior to LSU getting him. I knew he upset OU and that was honestly it.
I can say I no longer doubt him, I just wonder if he has peaked you know?

Kind of stupid to say after one "bad" year. I use that term loosely cause we still went 8-5 and many many teams would have loved that record.

I pray everyday that Florida hired Meyer. I shudder to think he was very close to going to ND.
