Have you always hated Les or is just after the one game this year?

Also, would anyone like to make a friendly bet that LSU beats Vandy....anyone.....anyone? I didnt think so. Stop flaming the board.

i have never been completely sold on les. Lately its gotten worse mainly bc i hate him making excuses.

eta: it sounds spoiled but i think we should have more wins in his span here than we do.

They are when they are only 14 point favorites over Vandy.

he was talking about how the time of the game and travel effected stuff. Sounds like excuses to me. Naw ill blame les for last year because even with lee we scored plenty of points. Him putting friends over LSU is what hurt our team last year. The D was a bigger problem than lee was.

we have plenty of wins no doubt but I think we could have even more. Mainly 06 we should have never lost at auburn and 07 we shouldn't have lost any games. Last year we shouldn't have lost to arky.

I agree mostly but every coach makes statements like to avoid throwing people under the bus. And i dont believe Miles should take all the blame but i understand that its the nature of the beast. The head coach is going to get the blame and praise. It just seems to me that Miles seems to get all the blame, yet gets hardly any of the praise.

Im not asking him to throw players under the bus but when we dont play up to par he should take the blame and not blame external factors.
If we turn it around this year and show improvement then ill reevaluate my view on les.

I just thought we could have went a lil bigger in our search and opened up the check book and got another guy when we got les.

im not sold on how good vandy will be this year. They beat up on a shitty d2 school so we will see this weekend.

Hopefully our dline stops wearing dresses and gets some penetration this week and we can blow them out.

A 52-7 beatdown of Vandy would certainly help the mood of some around here

No it wouldn't...they would find something in the way the 7 points were scored or the time out calling to get pissed about...

the bar is set high right now as it should be. 8 win seasons just aren't acceptable at LSU right now. If we were coming off a 10 win season i doubt as many would be freaked out by 1 game. Since our last season sucked so bad though its causing more worries of a repeat of that.
