Hard to disagree with this. I've seen the light on him, there's no reason this season with a couple of the guys Vandy had couldn't have been a one off 9-4 type year, instead they lost all their close matchups and went 6-7.

You'd think a defensive minded coach would run that kid into the ground against a team like Baylor.

Firing a coach that keeps Vandy competitive is the kind of move that makes Vandy a 2-9 embarrassment.
They are, and will always be, the least talented team in conference, but he's 3-5 in two of the last three years. Anyone who expected him to turn them into Stanford was kidding themselves.

That is literally all they care about, if anything Masons on the way to getting a saban style statue on campus. As long as he can beat a really bad Tennessee team and crip walk on the sidelines when he does he can go 1-10 every year and have all the job security in the world
