Vanderbilt players/coaches will have names of fallen soldiers on our uniforms on Saturday

I hope the school has their families' permission to do so or it could backfire badly.

thank goodness they aren't doing what the women's basketball team did for a scrimmage last week.

Through a special partnership with Medals of Honor, Vanderbilt's Deep Water uniforms will feature names of fallen soldiers on the back with the soldiers' military branch patch on the front of the jersey. The Commodores' coaching staff will wear special Salute to Service sweatshirts with names of fallen soldiers on the front and their branch patches on the sleeve.

There are more veterans groups like that based in TN than pretty much anywhere. It wouldn't be hard to get permission. They probably approached Vandy.
